Here is the Participant information for our
big performance Wednesday Dec. 11th!

Check-in starts at 6:30 (I may have told you 6:45 in an earlier correspondence). We are not checking in at the gym lobby like we did on clinic day. You will enter the doors next to the Auditorium. The Auditorium entrance is the one in between the main entrance and the gymnasium lobby entrance. We will mark the entrance with balloons and/or signs. After check-in your dancer will be whisked away by the Pacesetters to practice and pose for a picture before their big performance!
The Girls’ Varsity game starts at
7:00. The half time Performance will
last for approximately 10 minutes. (It’s hard to say when half time will
begin.) You may pick up your Kndg–5th Graders afterward in
the stage gym which is the gym right
behind the main gym. We will explain exactly where this is when you check in. The 6-8th Graders may either
remain in the gym and find you if you are attending the game OR they may wait
for you INSIDE of the Gymnasium Lobby.
Please discuss the options with your 6-8th Grader
beforehand. If you would rather have
them wait in the stage gym, they are welcome.
The younger girls should be assembled in the stage gym at 8:00. Please be there to pick them up
promptly J
If you would like to attend the game free, you may have your hand
stamped upon check-in. We have been
asked by the athletic director to allow 2 per family to enter the game
free. If you want to watch the 2nd
half, you may bring your daughter in for free.
Shirts and bows will be passed out at check in. It is helpful if your dancer wears a shirt
that the t-shirt can be slipped over. Please wear a pony tail so we can attach the
bow. This year the bows are attached to
clips instead of a ponytail holders. Our
Pacesetters and Southlanders will be there to help with bows. Please take all
coats etc…with you. If your dancer
cannot make it to the Performance, we’ll label her shirt/bow and deliver it to
her school. If you’d like to make other
arrangements, email Kim at tfeathers@kc.rr.com.
Bottoms---Black dance/jazz/yoga type bottoms would be great. Black shorts or sweat pants will work too. Tennis shoes on the feet (jazz shoes are fine
too if they’d rather.)
It’s
not too late to order a Performance DVD! The DVD will include video and photos from the
basketball game performance as well as the girls in action at the Clinic. We
will be taking a group shot of the girls all dressed up in their t-shirts and
bows before the performance. I will email
it to everyone or send a link to the photo.
The DVD is $10. We will take a
check or cash (please try to bring exact change.)
If you have already
ordered and paid for a DVD, our preferred (and easiest!) way to deliver them would be to drop it off
at your dancer’s school in an envelope with her name on it.
Please give us about 2 weeks or so to get
the DVD put together and delivered.
